Meeting Our Clan Elder

"Clan Elder" is an honorific title, but well deserved for the genetic research that Donald Stewart of Lanark has tracked, mapped, and maintained over the years. Before we had a Stewart Clan Elder, we all ran into the same brick wall in tracing our ancestry. That is until the discovery of a male gene, ZZ52, that traced the High Park Stewarts to nearly three and half centuries earlier to Robert III of Scotland.
